Read moreThank you for a wonderful performance in Christ Church on Sunday. I wasn't sure what to expect but your performance far surpassed my expectation. It was a joy to listen to a superbly professional choir who sang with joy and passion in my church. I will keep my eye on your website in the hope that I can hear you again.
We raised £166.39 in just two hours in Holmfirth Co-operative Store, whilst singing to our latest CD. Many thanks to everyone who supported and bought CDs.
A group of choir members entertained Christmas shoppers with singing well known Christmas carols.
Read morePlease come along to our Christmas concert which is at St Paul's Concert Hall in Huddersfield on Saturday 6 December at 6.30pm. We are being joined by Lindley Junior School Choir, which requires no introduction. Also, our very own accompanist and highly talented pianist, Lloyd Buck, has some treats in store.
Choir members and invited friends heard the new CD 'Expressions from the Heart' at a special event at Holmbridge. The launch involved members competing in baking cakes which illustrated a track from the album.
Read moreThe next opportunity to see the choir perform is on Saturday 11 October at Holmfirth Parish Church, where they will be sharing the stage with the Band of the Yorkshire Regiment in a concert to raise funds for both the Regiment Benevolent Fund and Help for Heroes.

Hurrah! We won the Donald Booth Trophy gaining distinctions in both our pieces, 'Here in my Heart' by Sarah Quartel and 'Let's Face the Music and Dance' by Irving Berlin.

Chair of Vocal Expressions, Jane Doherty, was thrilled to present a cheque for £1330 to Gerry Beaumond of Macmillan Cancer Support, proceeds from the hugely successful and enjoyable 'Face the Music & Dance' evening of song and dance. Thanks are also due to the Round Table who ran the bar and local businesss in Holmfirth who so generously donated prizes.
