Vocal Expressions

Vocal Expressions is a welcoming and friendly ladies choir based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Led by Musical Director, Nicola Mills, and accompanist, Lloyd Buck, the choir rehearses each Thursday evening in Holmbridge. As well as performing at our own concerts, we enjoy singing as guests of others; at fundraising events, weddings and private functions.
We have an extensive and varied repertoire including both sacred and secular music, ranging from classical to contemporary.

Most of all we just love to sing.

a ‘Christmas Box of Delights’

with the Holme Valley Orchestra

on 14th December at St David’s Hall, Holmbridge

The choir is really looking forward to performing a joint concert with the Holme Valley Orchestra on December 14th at St David’s Hall Holmbridge, where you you be entertained by a variety of wonderful music and get a chance to join in with some Christmas favourites.

Vocal Expressions will also be singing at the Christmas market at Christ Church, New Mill and the Christmas Fayre at Wooldale Community Centre on 23rd November, the Holmfirth Co-op on 7th December, for the Square Peg group in Holmbridge on Wednesday 18th December, and at The Fleece, Holme, Friday evening 20th December.

Each year Vocal Expressions adopts a charity to support.

For 2024 the choir has chosen the Forget-Me-Not Children’s Hospice as their charity, with special focus on music therapy.
